Get a Library Card?

How to get a Library Card

To obtain a library card, applicants 17 and older must present a photo ID plus proof of physical address. Applicants 5 to 16 must have a parent or guardian sign the application in the presence of library staff. The parent or guardian must have a Seymour Community Library card in good standing to assume responsibility on the card application of a child. The first card issued is free. If your card is lost, a $2.00 replacement fee is charged. You must have your own library card with you to access library services.

Library cards are set to expire annually in order for the library to have current patron information. Keep your card and update your data with our staff when your card expires.
